The Australian share market has closed higher for the 7th day in a row, and it is up almost 1.5 percent for the week.  By the close today, the All Or index added 0.1 percent or 6 points. The ASX200 index was up a similar amount. Turning across the region.

And Japan's Nikkei has closed down a third of a percent or 47 points.  The sport gold price is reversing overnight loses in the asian section. Crude oil price in the US did fall. And the Australian dollar right now is rising against the greenback to 92.23 US cents.

A record rooted in sales and production has laid petrol gas company Santo to boost its pay-out to shareholders. Santo has made 206 million dollars in the first half.

That is down 24 percent on a year before, but that is because of the write-down of the Indonesian project. The entrance dividend has been lifted to 20 cents a share.

Santo is one of the many companies this reporting season to boost its pay-out to shareholders.

The Bank of American is paying 18 billion dollars in fine for each row in selling durgit investment products to investors in the late-up to the global financial CRIsis.

The bank was accused of convincing investors to buy mogage bag security by forgingly representing them in a safe investment. It leads to billions of dollars loses when the US housing market collapsed.
